Lecture (Guest Speaker)

I learned that designing websites can earn us up to a range of 1k to 20k, depending on the design and concept.

Using web 2.0 has allowed many other widgets and application to work on today’s websites as compared to the previous old web 1.0. It’s now a 2 way communication as even the blogs today have tagboards and as for other forum, they have the comment section.

Starting as a freelance is more recommended for people who don’t commit. And if after you get the hang of being a freelance web designer, consider joining a company to obtain greater success.

The guy giving the lecture was young and from what we all heard, he is actually quite successful. He inspired me through his knowledge on web-related areas.

Having a guest speaker would definitely help people see that what we do in school is sort of like a training to prepare us for the real working world outside.
